The Duality Of Reality!

Brain drain is an understatement!

I wonder what would define…

the duality of this reality?

One side is happy for the prospects,

the other worries about the emotional aspects!

these two sides,

are the two sides,

of the coin which is reality,

or perhaps the common consciousness

of the common people,

of this un-common city!

‘Patna’ sends its children,

in search of quality

education,

life &

work…

to far and wide places,

where they try and become the aces,

amongst the deck,

of cards,

And when they do,

their parents have got their rewards!

So does this city!

But it does pity,

it’s own situation,

for, it has sent away a generation!

What does the future hold?

Though the past was gold,

and the history was bold…

but it’s unable to hold,

the young and the flourishing aspirations,

of the youths of the present generation!

It has a hope,

a silver lining…

safely kept in the most guarded closet of it’s heart,

That Things Would Change!

It might appear to be strange,

even if the things change,

the quest for quality will remain unchanged!

This city is happy

for, it’s children go after quality,

It just laments,

that it can’t be found here!

Thus this confusion,

this fusion

of happiness and sadness!

Which I describe as,

‘The Duality Of Its Reality!’
