hungry, wanting, unsteady

He is born hungry.

inherited hunger from Father, Grandfather

lineage of Insatiable men, petrol covered tongues

unfound Glory resides inside their veins

fury Burns deep within their barrel chests

He grows wanting.

yearning Beaten into cherry stained cheeks

echoed by Father brought up by Grandfather

He may reign Champion, title most grand

may rise upon a Podium plated in Gold

He lives unsteady.

whispered admissions between Tracks

jagged pieces bare across broken Asphalt

between rustled hotel sheets, hidden texts

all for a Man who grips His trembling hand
