In the world of screens and glowing lights,

Where every moment's captured, shared, and liked,

We scroll and swipe, entranced by endless streams,

But what we lose, we seldom see in dreams.

A thousand friends, yet loneliness we feel,

Behind the filters, nothing's truly real.

Comparisons that make our spirits fall,

In highlight reels, we seem so very small.

The time we waste, the moments that we miss,

In virtual bonds, we find no true bliss.

Our minds, once clear, now cluttered, fraught with noise,

Our peace, disturbed by algorithms' ploys.

We seek approval, hearts and thumbs we chase,

Yet in the mirror, lose our truest face.

The pressure mounts, perfection’s cruel demand,

In digital sands, we struggle to withstand.

Oh, fleeting world, where surface shines so bright,

Let's find our grounding, seek the deeper light.

In face-to-face, in nature’s calm embrace,

Rediscover life, our truest, simplest grace.
