A pack of Oreos rests,
dark as night, with their secrets tucked inside—
a crunch that sings of childhood joy,
of cookie crumbs dancing in the air,
as fingers dive into creamy depths.

The whisper of cream cheese calls softly,
a velvety promise wrapped in sugar's arms;
it swirls like clouds on a summer day—
light and airy yet heavy with dreams.

And so I crumble them, one by one,
tiny shards scattered like forgotten wishes—
each piece falls into the bowl’s embrace,
dusting the sweetness beneath my fingertips.

Butter melts in a warm sigh,
bathing graham crackers in golden light;
they mingle together like old friends reuniting—
a crust forged from laughter and time spent lost.

Layer upon layer builds this creation:
an altar of flavors crafted for celebration;
the oven hums a gentle lullaby while it bakes—
time suspended between moments of need and want.

I pull it out—a masterpiece formed from chaos—
this Oreo cheesecake stands proud on its pedestal;
chocolate flecks twinkle against ivory smoothness,
like stars reflected on an endless sea.

Each slice reveals stories untold,
bittersweet echoes linger on my tongue;
and as I savor every last bite—
the world outside fades to muted colors.

In this moment of indulgence and peace,
I find solace amidst the layers of life.
