The Deed We Carry

strike me with your knife knowing there was love at the end

bite me on my neck, having your venomous poison coursing through my veins

giving me such a satisfaction to endure this pain

take my breath away with the air through my lungs...

knowing you'll be the one to live longer

you've filled my morning with such peace and such glee

making me forget there's still war in love that we still benefit to seek

with the silence of your voice still in a room

making me wonder if dying for love will put our souls at peace

knowing the deed we carry

will soon come to an done...
