The Day you Died, You Killed Me Too

Things I Don't Say Out Loud Challenge

By ImperfectlyPerfectPublished about a year ago • Updated about a year ago • 1 min read

I hate you for dying, because now I'm all sad and blue

I hate you for dying because your death killed me too

At your funeral I didn't cry because I was so pissed with you

I hate you for dying because your death killed me too

I didn't give a speech nor did your body I view

I hate you for dying because your death killed me too

You won't see the roses bloom in the garden we grew

I hate you for dying because your death killed me too

I try to speak kind words but lately hatred is all I spew

I hate you for dying because your death killed me too

The sickness you had, we didn't have a clue

I hate you for dying because you killed me too

You kept us in the dark, but for years you knew

I hate you for dying because you killed me too

I've tried to deny what I feel deep within

But the reality hit me, when the church said amen

You will never hear me say the words, but I have to attempt to write it out

The hatred towards you makes me stomp, scream, and shout

Perhaps I should've gotten this release months ago,

because I don't really hate you, I hate you had to go
