For the ''Don't Turn Around'' Challenge
Some follow at a distance.
Others always keep pace.

Some leave you in peace.
Others get in your face.
*
Some are there as guides.
Others want to stay quiet.
*
Some have told you the truth.
Others? They never tried it.
*
Some like the turns you've made.
Others want the old path.
*
Some watch the numbers.
Others can't do the math.
*
Some will be a challenge.
Others leave it to you.
*
Some may be at your back.
Others can be felt on the spine, too.
*
Some want you to turn around.
Others are there like a dream.
*
Some are barely a sound or sight.
Others want your scream.
*
Note: A daemon is an immortal spirit, an unseen background process, or a fictional being, depending on whether you are looking at it from a mythological, technical, or pop-culture perspective... Many Greeks, including Socrates, believed that every person had an attendant spirit. This spirit served as an internal guide or a guardian angel who inspired wisdom and protected the individual (Wikipedia).
So...I could not resist...
