He said,

as he closed his eyes

to the sound of her voice

whispering sweet nothings into his ear.

"Fill my body up

with this poison

that you call home.

Take away,

from me,

all of the thoughts

and screams

swirling inside of my mind.

Blind me with your

everlasting night.

Please,

kiss me

and make me undream;

for I am tired,

of being. "

And as she kissed him,

she heard

his soul cry out

it's undying pleading;

"I am only just human.

forgive me for seeing;

the truth in this undying being.

I should have just

left her alone,

and carried on with my song;

to live a life among the living."
