The Cub or the Bear
For which one would you rather care?

So many shootings
So many guns
Yet the White House still isn’t stained with blood
Instead it’s on the tshirts of the ones who would have taken it right off their backs for you
Un-developed brain matter on the floor in the classroom
Staring down a gun barrel are eyes that haven’t seen the world yet
And it’s the one they would have seen that did this to them
What is a law if it’s protects no one
It’s control for their power & theft paid by our lives stolen
The right to bear arms never liked them
It was made to keep the people from their harm so
How did we let them get this far then?
Some of us bow down to the ones who make it hard
For us citizens
And the children
…Let that line sink in
The bullets should be aimed towards the admin
And their master pedo puppeteer
The amendment has been misconstrued
Much like the bible and now our human rights get to lose
That’s a whole other story though
This is a problem that can be almost solved
Yet they won’t take the chance on it or even get involved
A mom will never again see her baby run off the school bus in a race to her mother’s arms screaming “Mommy!” through a smile that should be seen for more years to come
A dad won’t get to throw the ball with his son in the yard anymore
A friend will look at their socials with grief instead of admiration
All because you refuse to go through a few extra loopholes to bear it FOR them
Which in another term, we would all choose
But in this case
It’s the bear or it’s cub
And if a few regulations bother you
Then you shouldn’t own a gun
Your hands are as red as their tshirts
Your heads have less brains than the floor
Your eyes will look past all of this
Thus you are the reason gun violence is the leading cause of death in our kids, and their killers
unjustly get to live
