The Council Estate
The estate we live on is not nice at all

The Council Estate
Dirty house, on a council estate,
Kids bored, nothing to do all day
Mums on drugs, dads doing time inside,
The noise they make I just can’t abide.
Radio on full, they just party all night,
Get me out of this place; nothing here is right.
They pinch the parcels left if on the step outside.
We have a security a camera, yet they don’t even hide.
If you talk to the police, your windows go through,
Rough, dirty people who use outside for the loo.
The dust bin rubbish all over gardens, and the street
We walk out side but end up with dog poo on our feet.
Picking on decent folk, yet shielding each other,
When one moves out, council move in another.
I stay up all night just in case they come over here
locking windows and doors, yet still they try to get in.
I just need the council to please get me out;
They say they have no other houses about.
So tonight when it’s time to go to your bed,
Say a prayer for me please, it’s all doing in my head
