To meet an alien from afar,
I'd throw a quirky, zany party, by far.
In a disco full of neon lights,
We'd dance with all our cosmic might.
In a garden of glow-in-the-dark plants,
We'd play hide and seek with firefly ants.
Then, under a sky full of glowing stars,
We'd share Earth's stories while sipping from mason jars.
We'd snap some selfies for the 'Gram,
Influencer style, ain't that the jam?
I'd serve them avocado toast so divine,
With strawberry matcha lattes and organic local wine
As the morning sun does rise,
We'd gaze upon Earth's wondrous skies.
To show our guests, without a doubt,
What this blue, green and brown planet's all about.
In intergalactic fashion, we'll strut our flair,
Breaking down barriers in the cosmic air.
With rhythms of the universe, our hearts align,
For justice and equality, in every sign.
We'll toast to unity in the galaxy's embrace,
Raise our antennas in this cosmic space.
With joy and wonder, we'll light the way,
For a universe where all can have their say.

This was super a good rhyming poem for the contest! I loved that you'd do all of this with the alien! I wonder how they feel about instagram??
