The Convenience Store

Not convenient at all.

I was in line the other day

At the convenience store.

And there was this brand new

Self checkout kiosk on the floor.

~~~~
I thought, how is checking myself
Out, more convenient to me?
Then just having the trained
Checker ring me out quickly.
~~~~

Maybe I'm missing something

Very extremely basic here.

That this should be convenience,

Not inconvenience, my dear.

~~~~
It made me stop and
Think for just a minute.
About how little these
Corporations value you in it.
~~~~

They don't give a damn,

What the customers want.

Only a profit that quarter,

Is their commandant.
