The colors you perceive

by Chris Watson

By Chris WatsonPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Writing with no meaning

Singing with no birds

Listening with no frequency

Reading with no words

A taste without a feeling

A smell without a scent

A heart forever healing

A touch of discontent

Space and time both intertwine

As human’s set their course

Beyond the hills and far away

Light diffracts remorse

We see it now, but cannot stop

We need to work, we need to shop

We need to win to be the best

And put our senses to the test

But what are we all heading for?

In what do you believe?

Values of the past?

Or the colors you perceive?
