The Colors of Me
Forgiveness, by Quasata Leigh
I forgive you.
Though you cannot see.
However blue.
Gratefully I can.
I forgive.
Though you cannot me.
Shaded hue.
Sadly I still do.
Inside out.
Left bruised.
Battered blue.
Daily I forgive us.
Pride aside.
Whatever we’ve done.
In absence of light.
Graded daily.
Acceptance needed.
When pressed.
Hard as graphite.
Cannot be undone.
Colored by you.
Blinded by anger.
Dichromic sight.
Leave it behind.
Forgive me.
Without perseverance.
Not black and white.
Imagine it all.
To have forgave.
Forever true.
Illuminated bright.
Saves us both.
The shades of me.
Perceptions of light.
A radiant hue.
Gradient by forgiveness.
