Oh, me, oh my, what fun am I!
Watercolor and ink, passions I pursue,
As passionate as a verse to a haiku,
Drawing in Procreate on my iPad too,
With four dogs ever by my side, it’s true.
A dreamer, a wannabe writer, and actress in my head,
My daily companions, these creative threads.
A wife, a mother, caregiving no more,
The younger sister of a family of four.
Oh, what fun each day will bring,
As long as my lower back joins the swing.
But a darker side to my creative days,
Chronic pain and creative worries in many ways.
Still, I hope you enjoy my blog’s hues,
Filled with this, that, and creative views.
Stay tuned for what’s to come,
my unapologetic self on display,
In the ever-evolving tapestry of each creative day.

Touching the Sky
Back in 2020 (yes, THAT 2020), I took my very first steps towards becoming an international traveler. I was 25 years old, and up to this point, the furthest I'd ever traveled alone from my home state of New Jersey without my family was to West Virginia.
