The Color of Life

Color is humanity

Deepest black, the shades of brown,

Olive tones, to peachy pinks,

Are all a part of this “town.”

Color also lies in feelings, integrity, opinion, love,

How you express yourself, or lack thereof.

Color is the birds, the bees, the flowers of all sizes,

The first heartbreak, a tummy ache, and how your brain surmises

How people of other color ideas,

Relate to you,

But what’s important is

what you feel is true

Stay alert to those ideas that weasel in your mind,

Trying to take your happiness

During the daily grind

All that really matters is how you live your life.

Is it good enough for you,

Or is it filled with strife,

Trying to please everyone

Isn’t truly plausible,

The rainbow of ideas inside your head is ready to be possible!

Explore the what, the where, the how, and why it works for you,

Then be that person, inside and out, and LIVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE THROUGH!
