The Child Who Whispered to the Moon

The child stood,

bare feet on cold earth.

Moonlight touched his face,

silver and quiet.

He whispered secrets,

words too small for night.

Stars listened,

their glow trembling softly.

Shadows leaned closer,

the wind held its breath.

Every leaf shivered,

even the trees paused.

He spoke of loss,

of dreams too big for hands.

The sky shivered,

echoing his longing.

A fox watched,

its eyes glowing like coals.

The child did not see,

he only spoke.

The moon bent lower,

listening with gentle patience.

Time stretched thin,

woven with fear and hope.

A whisper became a song,

a song became a prayer.

The world waited,

breathless beneath his voice.

The child fell silent,

shadows retreating to corners.

Moonlight kissed his hair,

he vanished in stillness.
