It seems that there is an appreciation for everything

In the moment, a parade is held, everyone is proud

In the moment, anything is possible, we stand united

In the moment, we learn to love and accept for who we are

In the moment, we learn from history, vowing not to go back

Then the parade is over, the crowds go home, until next year

As some point, we forget how it felt when we were all one

We look for the next big cause to fight for, to believe in

In the moment, we should look at the cause that matters most

Human rights, we are not really that different after all

We all hope, dream, fear, love, hurt

The celebration should last every day, we should remember

We all have a place in the world, We are all one
