The Cat Who Came to Visit This Morning

At 5:54 this morning

I came out of the house singing

I noticed movement at the end of the driveway

A critter was slowly moving my way

~

As I watched the critter stopped moving

Then it sat down and watched me

Silently, patiently, until I was done singing

I couldn't get my camera up when he

or she quickly walked away. A photo wasn't to be

~

When I noticed it was a cat and not the blur

in the photo above, it made sense seeing her

or him walking down the neighbors road home.

I clearly had another idea of whom I saw on the roam.

Nature is so beautiful, the sun, the greening

up of the grass, and the trees leafing

Critters out and about. Birds singing

Sitting close and then they are flying

~

The sun was warm on my face today

It was 60 degrees for a short time yesterday

It will be nice today. Maybe a motorcycle ride

~

Depends on if it gets above 50. I will hide

if it doesn't as hubby's bottom is 40s.

He can ride without me. I prefer 50s

to 60s, but I'm most comfortable in the 70s.

~

Creator, thank you for keeping the deer

in the ditch, the birds in the air, and near

me, and the bugs where they belong.
