The Canis Lupus

A fantastical re-imagining of the origin of werewolves & (perhaps) where to find them…

We watchful wolves weather winter,

Weary, wounded - windstorms whisper,

Wicked witches, warlocks, wizards,

Whose wrath wreaks wide, worlds’ wretched winners?

We wolves wage war, weapons whirl,

Witchcraft won’t win while we walk - whole worlds -

Watch with wonderment when woodlands welcome,

Warrior werewolves with wakened wisdom.

Woven within wise worthy wolves,

Woken, waging war, within wild woods;

We wound without waver, we waste without warning,

We wipeout wanton wickedness, within worlds we’re warding.

What wild, wondrous, wolves would wither,

When we walk with werewolves, welcome worthy winners.

…..Wait!

Witness… worldly watcher… we werewolves wait within,

Wandering whimsical woodlands, west within Wisconsin…

    Beautifully done. I’ve been very drawn to werewolf folklore lately.
