The breath before the plunge into the abyss.

The sun that set into the west,

A gasp for air, a heavy chest,

With grey overcast as the gloomiest veil,

For all it would entail.

A flicker, a flash, an announcements of thunders disdain,

The mourning of the heavens, tear drops of the rain,

Anxious thoughts that run through the mind,

To search and seek for a remedy, to find,

Yearning for daylight to break free,

The dawn of the sun for the eyes to see,

But sorrow lingered within the atmosphere,

A constant thought of all that was unclear,

So it was beyond the norm,

The anxious breath, before the storm...
