The Braided Change

One Strand At A Time

I braid them

One strand after the other

Over and over

One after the other

In the same repeating pattern

So simple

But so complex

The building of patterns

One upon the other

Till they merge into a whole

Stronger than before

More beautiful than before

Something that it wasn't before

Simple parts

In simple patterns

One after the other

Till the art is there

Overwhelming in its complexity

The simple

When built one upon the other

Becomes the complexity

That's how patterns work

So I will be here

Braiding the strands

One after the other

Till my work is complete
