The boat to nowhere

It was time to board

Better get on

Get settled before we depart

Wasn't sure exactly where we were going

Or even if it was worth knowing

At least we weren't rowing

Hopefully we wouldn't need towing

Over the sides there was some water flowing

We could soon get going

Just had to wait for the tide

Then we could say goodbye

Enjoy our ride

Excited to go there

Hoping it would be an incredible affair

Except everything seemed like it was up in the air

But we were without a care

Now maybe for the unexpected we might need to prepare

As we cruised along not knowing where

We were on the boat to nowhere
