The Blue Path

Say It Again

Road scattered with blue dragonflies

Tiny streaks lighting up my eyes

Reprogramming my mind once more

Focusing on what matters to me

What made you so unfeeling?

Trust issues, a love life riddled with bad luck

Yet fortune smiles on me elsewhere, for what reason?

It wasn't a game of cards, but it turned into

A roulette wheel spun with my tattered heart

What made you so unfeeling?

You threw me to the wolves

With lies and nasty words

It was totally uncalled for

Two souls lost in this jungle world

What made you so unfeeling?

You killed me with your sword, but it wasn't the right one

It was the one that destroyed every petty part of me

It won't grow anymore, at least not in the same place

It's tainted by countless wrongdoings

What made you so unfeeling?

Now, you're probably sitting alone with another female conquest

Questioning my no-return, never even considered

You should have figured that out yourself

After the way you acted
