The Blessings of the Elder Tree
The messages from the elder smiling tree to the children
Beneath the elder tree's ancient bark,
A world of wonder, a world of spark,
Where children play and laugh and dare,
The tree's warm smile watches over them there.
Its branches stretch and twist and sway,
A haven for young hearts to play,
The leaves rustle softly in the breeze,
Whispering secrets to the children's ease.
The tree's broad trunk, a haven of rest,
A place to hide and dream and nest,
The children climb and laugh and play,
Their joy and laughter chase the night away.
The elder tree's smile is pure and kind,
A gentle guardian of the mind,
It watches over the children's play,
And keeps their hearts in a sunny day.
So come and sit beneath its shade,
And let the elder tree's wisdom be made,
For in its bark and leaves so grand,
Lies a world of love and wonder, at hand.
