A poem about feelings for old times & memories

I turned hard like ice

after a moment of fury

I was water once I remember

before the time got frozen

now looking for a sun

to thaw my spirit,

my soul is amenable

wanting to go deep

in the glass of water

So the ice of me

dives to melt in the drink

poured by the distant memory

of a child now old and frazzled,

Me in the ice - I create bubbles there

thought I would float for a while,

But I am in a blend now

flawed and unpoised

of my time

and the places

it showed me a long ago!

This is my first ever piece written in the genre of poetry. I would like to do more in future . Thank you for your gentle read. Hope to catch more breath and contentment and fullness as I go along.
