The Bitter Wind

A Cold Morning

Step into the abyss and taste a sliver of silver,

Respire your lungs and let the air allude you.

Confine yourself, steel bars rattling beside the nest.

Restless, the souls take a seat beside you.

Contrary to the thought, where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Let sleeping dogs lie, the huskies are awake.

With fangs bared in an oblique manner;

Tear at the sunshine, and we shall seek disaster.

Don’t falter, let the wind linger longer.

In the Early days, when the times past by so fast,

We awaken, with a breath that lasts;

So long, so full of cold air,

A frozen spell to end the bitter days.
