The birth of a Morning-Star

An extract from a book I am currently writing, filled with poetry, angels, love, death and war. Page 1

The Storm brews silently as clouds collide so to do the leaves

of willow tree's. Shaking and vibrating, trucks crash, crackling

as roots unearth. The screeching is that of a fork on a black

chalk board. Branches fall. leaves leave spiralling to the bed

laying their heads up right still looking for sun light. Birds atop

the canapés cry pleading for the sky to halt the summersaults.

As a jolt comes smashing through.

A winged being splits the canapé and sky in two shining a new

sun.

Down on the floor Doe's with children from partners they

choose graze peacefully as if the events that just took place

were merely imagination. Wet green grass swaying in the now

calm wind begin to soar towards the now still legs of tree's.

Honey dew water springing off leaves that remain in there

place, those below taken by creatures to be eaten and used as

shelter.

Rabbits, foxes and burrowing animals appear from hiding

popping their small ears just above the clouds of Red, White

and Blue flowers not touched by the sky's fury.

A tree begins to fall its trunk splintered in three a fire ensues

from within dark charred cracks. As the flickes of flames rise the

tree gives up and accepts its demise, a once tall proud and

wide oak smitten by the heavens

for within a birth had taken refugee. A large hole is shown to be

burrowed outward at the base of the cracks of the now falling

beast.

Silver viscous liquid drop splashing into a unknown pearl like

puddle reminiscent of a pool of blood, its surface glimmers in

the sun giving off star like attributes. A white silk like robe

draped over the shadowed remnants of the tree's stump. For

this tree was its Home for millennia.

As the tree hits the ground crashing onto the soft moss below

golden dust is to be seen floating upward sparkling in the

sunlight but also clouding the seen like a thick fog.

Birds begin their chirping, singing songs of renewal as they

know the event that took place was one of Holy importance

once coming every second thousandth year. The birth of a

Prince of the Sky and Heaven to rule side by side in conjunction

with his Father above.

This was no ordinary Prince though but one that shone so

bright it gave the very life into the earth beneath, and further

below also.

His work would to be awakening.
