The Birth of a Gem

The coal diamond burns slowly. Fueled by a vision of perfection; an idea of becoming. Unseen, yet working beneath the surface. After years of reflection, placed under inconceivable pressure, the soot is shook loose and a perfect gem appears. Clear, refined, & sure of itself.

Like the birth of a gem, so too the Human Soul becomes an expression of divinity. We live through hardship & challenges, to cultivate beauty through pain. In the end, gems are made through the trials of life. In the end, only difficulties bring forth the best in us.

We are born into life unsure of who we are. When we are faced with an obstacle, we make decisions and discover ourselves. External pressures mold us in ways we are initially unconscious to. If we don’t like it, we make different decisions, we adjust our view, and thus reflect a new life experience. When we die, the life we led leaves lessons for others. It is not about ourselves, but what we leave behind for the next generation. These “gems” are what keep us going, what inspire & spur us to go on, to evolve, to become all we can be.

Let yourself be born anew, made into the perfect vision you have of yourself. You are the reference, you are your own redemption. The duality of you, the feeling of two, begets the truth of One. The Jewel is in the Lotus, & the Wish-Fulfilling Gem is won.
