The Bench by the Lake

I found my happy place

The Bench by the Lake

Under the trees where it’s cool and bright,

I sit on a bench, feeling alrigh.

By the lake where swans glide and sail,

Ducks waddle softly, leaving no trail.

The sun spills gold on the water’s face,

I watch nature’s dance at a lovely pace.

No rushing thoughts, just here in the day,

I take in the calm, let worries drift away.

The world feels close but also far,

In this moment of peace, I’d like to stay.

With birds softly singing, life feels free,

Just me, the lake, and the shade of the trees.

No worries in my head at all,

Just love for the trees and their gentle call.

The sun shines bright on the water’s gleam,

In this perfect moment, I simply dream.

Nature wraps me in a warm embrace,

Every whisper and rustle has its place.

Swans drift by with effortless grace,

While ducks dip below, leaving no trace.

I breathe in deep, feeling whole,

The beauty around me touches my soul.

In love with this world, so pure and bright,

Here in this magic, everything feels right.

As I sit in this blissful peace,

My heart dances lightly, any my worries cease.

In this summer calm, I truly belong,

Surrounded by beauty, where my heart is strong.
