The Diverse and Complex Soul of the Sad

A lone figure wanders through the night,

With eyes heavy from a burdened heart.

A weight that's dimmed their once bright light,

And pulled them far and wide apart.

Down empty streets they tread with care,

Lost in thoughts they cannot share.

A restless mind that cannot spare,

The pain and hurt they cannot bear.

Yet in their sadness, there's a grace,

A richness to their inner soul.

A world of feeling in this space,

Of love, depth, and a sense of whole.

For every tear that they have cried,

They've watered seeds of empathy.

And with every hurt they've survived,

They've learned to give love, wholeheartedly.

So let us not judge the sad ones,

For in their pain, they've grown much strong.

And though their journey may seem long,

They will find joy, where they belong.
