The Battle Against The Surge

Don't drown in it all.

Under the sea

Stuck beneath the deep

Lost in the abyss

In the reefs of madness

Where islands of white sands

A fond remembrance for sure

Inspire the mind to wander

And take a friendly tour

Trapped by an ocean barricade

Lost in the shuffle of time

Drowning in the waters of the mind

Lost to the depths

Sinking beneath it all

Has to have been a fall

To be trapped by the seas of time

And in the breathless moments

Before the final waves crash

The rushing sounds deafening

Fighting to be free

An ocean of surroundedness

The hand goes down again

Treading against you

Refuse to stop

Don't be lost

In the mix

Don't disappear

Among it all

Don't fade

Not in this sea
