The Artists Hand
In the Eye of the Beholder

The artist's hand works with his eyes
Creating his vision with paints
Some prefer to render raw nature
While others bring to life ancient Saints
Some produce marvels of the technical kind
Whilst others present cartoons and fun
Yet no matter the type of art they produce
There's always a treat for everyone
My personal favourites are portraits
Whilst others prefer a still life
Although every piece of art they produce
Is by hand whether brush stroke or knife
I marvel at the way they use colour
Mixing blue and yellow makes green
So many differing tones and shades
Even some that I've never seen
