Many people live tiring lives, not because the road is too long, but because they reach out too far.

The highest level of personal cultivation is hidden in just three words: Sense of Boundaries.

1. Don't Meddle: Resist the Desire to Interfere in Others' Lives

As the old saying goes, "Don't put your feet in someone else's shoes." Everyone has their own path to walk and their own pitfalls to experience. You might think your actions are "for their own good," but in their eyes, it is simply meddling.

The greatest self-discipline an adult can possess is restraining the desire to change others.

2. Don't Talk Too Much: Seeing Through Is Wisdom, Not Exposing Is Compassion

Many relationships are ruined by a single unnecessary comment. Too many words are worthless, especially those carrying a judgmental tone. True dignity is knowing how to remain silent regarding other people's choices.

You are not the judge, and others are not prisoners in the dock.

3. Don't Overthink: Don't Torture Yourself with Others' Mistakes

Some people tend to overinterpret everything. A single glance or word from someone else can trigger a fifty-episode palace drama in their mind.

Living a tiring life often happens because you pile too much garbage in your heart. Maintaining boundaries is not only about giving others space, but also about lightening your own burden. Others' emotions belong to their own journey; your composure is your own blessing.

4. Don't Look Too Much: Protecting Your Focus Is a Form of Clarity

This world is bustling, but most of it is irrelevant to you. Staring at someone else’s bowl makes your own food taste bland; staring at others' lives will only lead you astray.

Turn your gaze inward and focus on the grass beneath your own feet.

The so-called sense of boundaries is not indifference; it is respect.

Like footsteps on this grass, walk steadily and do not disturb another person's blooming season. Life is precious—maintain your distance and cultivate your own happiness.
