The Art Of Deception

Inevitable Revelation

By Sabrina SeniszynPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

One lie here, another lie there, no one seems to care. Without a couple enhancements there, would anyone even dare?

The fragility hidden behind a strut of confidence, the power disguised by an intentional stutter, this is what makes up the game of life. Small details ever-changing, as we retell a story again and again. At what point do we wake up to realize the life we've imagined wasn't even there?

It rarely happens when we consider the adaptions that've been made, late at night as we toss and turn in bed. No, its not then. Its when we've been caught in a lie, its when a repetition has changed too often. It's when the lie does the inevitable, it reveals you.

See, the art of deception is a tricky one, it always slips out of our palms. No matter how wise you feel, there is always one who is wiser. The only action you can make is to choose who you crumble away in front of. It is an important choice, but one with consequences as well. No matter the lie you spit, it will land, and at a harsher impact than in which you released it. Now, who would you like it to land on? Who would you like to pay? Because no matter how it falls, it will surely harm or weigh.
