The king's presence awoke the Soothing silk

Because Arrogance was his essence

His voluminous velvet staircase bowed down to him

The lights went dim, just for him

He walked outside his castle in awe of his life

His gold, his attire, and his wonderful wife

Everyone bowed to him like they were his slaves

Started from the back of the crowd and followed like small waves

He had everything, anyone could desire

But his punishment for his ignorance would be the fire

Blind to the truth

Blind to himself

Blinded by his reality

He would not take advice from anyone else

The consequence would be for eternity

In this life and the next

One day, his desires came to end

His arrogance was devoured by a full-on threat

His nation was angered

He was the only one being pampered

He treated the nation like he was the hare, and they were the tortoises

No food, no house, all was gone for him and his entire nation

Before people treated him with admiration

Now they knew the truth and left him suffering for eternity

His spirit would never acquire modernity

His sadness overcame him

He asked the world for forgiveness

But he had an ounce of arrogance within him

That he needed to suffer for

To learn

To grow

To overcome this disease

Now he knew he would never wish his life on anyone else

The people should not have remained silent,

as who would teach him,

The Arrogant King
