... hammering away...

Art by Alex Cipriano @alexciprianoart

She’s clothed so very plainly as can be

But under duress there is much to see

Much to see of the armorer at work

As she toils away at her mighty quirk

+

Hammering away at her keyboard late

She always seems to fill her heavy plate

Crazy times and such crazy working hours

Yet her work above the rest does tower

+

In high banners and gazes of the town

Rests her armor suits so marveled and crowned

This is one creator who is no dumb clown

Striving away in dear old tinseltown

+

In line of work many great names she’s met

With names you would never ever forget

Fitting them with cord and fiber and threat

This is clothing that they never regret

+

Fit from her working out five days a week

Her outcome and armor not at all bleak

Heroine of comics and fluent in geek

As if listening to someone speak greek

+

Hammering hammering within the day

Hammering within the fine month of may

Hammering until she's out of the fray

Hammering away till judgment day
