The Apple of the Realm of Man

I was a better person before I met you.

You were like a bloodsucking Duke.

Every inch, every flesh of mine,

None of them was full.

I doubted my decision when I saw you,

I knew you would bring no goods.

I yearned to sink you into the depths of my mind,

But why couldn't you just lie?

I walk with sorrow,

I bathe with tears.

I blind by horror,

I live with fears.

Nothing in me can possibly stop you.

Why couldn't you just sleep.

Like the sleeping beauty.

Stay with your dream,

And forever be.

One day your kingdom shall fall.

Leave behind your detestable soul.

There will rise the Angel of sacred morn,

And cleanse from the words of the Holy Norns.

The seed you plant will one day grow,

Break the roof and launch the top.

Hold you in, in Jotunheim,

Seek your end, beyond your rein.
