The Anatomy Of Self Esteem

And The Power Of Outside Influence

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Spinning -

In circles

In place

Webs of anything, that bring a sense of connection

Falling -

Freely floating

Unique, temporary

Pieces of the story, into place

Twisted-

In knots

Thoughts

Together, new purpose and meaning

Tangled -

Up tight

Together

Intertwining movements, tying indirectly

Fractured -

Deeply

In pieces

Lines of stress, spreading an unstoppable hemorrhage

Acceptance -

Of change

Of self

Who, what and when - where is irrelevant

Impressions -

First and last

Perceptions

Real definition, expectation meets reality

Contentment -

Peaceful satisfaction

Inner reflection

Internal resolution and untouchable assurance

surreal poetry
