The Absurdity of Life

We all endure life's absurdities,

Sometimes cruel as a knife,

A path before us, but which is right,

And which journey can bring light?

The strong are crushed by the weak,

The weak become heroes in time,

Some are born rich, some are poor,

But before death, we are all the same.

Life's absurdities defy the sun,

Challenging gravity's hold,

But time's flow always returns,

And the meaningless fades away.

Dreams lost in infinite darkness,

Lost in the depths of despair,

But is there a glimmer of hope,

Or are we trapped in an endless abyss?

Is life's meaning a hollow question?

Perhaps we're only in agony and despair,

But maybe there's light beyond the dark,

And hope within life's absurdities.

Like Dante, we too may wander in hell,

And maybe we can be reborn,

Rise above life's absurdities,

And walk towards the light.
