THAT MOMENT OF TIME
"There comes a time that the silent cries of nature go unheeded and that is the end of the spirit nature brings into our lives"
THAT MOMENT OF TIME

What used to shape our existence for years is now getting shaped by our nonchalance:
Humanity is fast driving into a state of unrepented woe
Exhibiting a chasm between the fruitfulness of Nature and making unto ourselves a foe
The offerings of Providential Nature we used to behold are still available but humans stand no chance.
Nearness to Nature offers oasis and peace beyond measure
From the beginning of time, the providings of Nature have been a treasure
Nature in diverse ways reconcile humanity to other creatures
Establishing a bond that is so different to sever.
Until the advent of technologies that seek to eliminate a great deal of Nature
Coexistence paved way for the world to be a good place
Rivers flowed, mountains peaked, streams coursed, animals roamed and life was precious
The harm appended to Nature seeks to wipe away our very existence in silent slow pace.
Then comes that time again where the sun dims and the sky cries
The tears of the expanse sky seen as rain
Nature rejoices at the abundance of water yet greater is its inward cries
The beauty of the earth is fast fading away, what is our gain?
It used to rain to the earth and the earth would return it in a more enriched form
So it used to be, but not anymore
At the time, it was pure rain along with which came happiness, hope and love
The earth has changed in structure, richness and appearance, losing the ability to enrich but to deprive, rid and destroy
The condition is far worse in the tropical regions on the continental Africa
Pollution of mind, ignorance of long-term consequence and greed for money plunge our society into offense against Nature:
Initiated by foreigners, sustained by natives and strengthened by both
Our lands no longer enrich our foodstuffs but poison them
Our waters are no longer “life” but “death”
Our air doesn’t support our existence but blows the life in us silently away
It is the plight of the concerned citizen, but who is willing to listen
Many years of being free
Independence has never been our pride
Self-reliance is a fallacy
Our existence is dictated
As years go by and all things strive to adapt to the changes in times and seasons:
The static and predetermined destiny of the African remains untouched but full of reasons:
Reasons to justify a surviving cause: The cause of our plights, woes and lesions.
Domestically, the self-satisfied, who’s life is ahead of all remarks in jesting and teasing
It is that time again, where birds of the sky and fishes of the sea migrate out of our environment:
Fuelled by their inability to thrive any longer in waters that course their lives away bit by bit
And air the replaces their body chemistry with toxins and thereby blowing their existence away
Even humans, who cause the pain, run away from home to dodge the effects of their actions.
