That Kind Word

Heals

By Ruth Elizabeth StiffPublished 4 months ago 1 min read
A Kind word heals.

“A kind word

means

the world to someone

going through a rough time.”

A kind word

is better and stronger

than any drug,

because it shows someone

that you respect him or her,

especially if they are

going through a difficult time.

That kind word heals.

The world we live in

can seem harsh and even overwhelming

at times,

which is why

we all need that kind word.

Kind words

are a note of encouragement,

words of

comfort and inspiration.

That kind word heals.

A kind word says:

“I’ve got you,

the world isn’t that bad after all,

I’ll be your friend.”

That kind word heals.

This ability

to uplift another person

is unique to humanity

because we thrive on love.

One kind word

restores hope and the person’s faith

in this world,

but especially in themselves.

That kind word heals.

Healing starts to happen

when a kind word is said.
