Thank You

Two words

so simple to use

when they are owed.

Maybe only borrowed words until

the next time you need something. Or,

Just plain courtesy

might be the intention.

They're simple, these two words.

Yet for many, they are hard to voice

as those words obtain the meaning they were assisted.

Realization they were not alone

when they "thought" no one noticed. And,

Then they're the two words in response

to the need of being of purpose when life

has left them feeling nothing more than burdensome.

No matter the reason

say them. It may be the only appreciation another life

receives.
