Tenacity of Shamrock
A lot to learn from this tiny roadside plant

Human hypocrisy is epic,
there is no end to it.
That's shamrock,
with its beautiful heart-shaped leaves
and lovely yellow flowers,
often catches my eye
during my walks.
I crouch down to admire it.
It is a symbol of Saint Patrick's Day,
huge merchandise riding on
this tiny herb.
But when it grows
near the sidewalks,
people try to scald it,
with herbicide spray.
Yet it is resilient.
it bounces back,
as if saying;
"You can burn my foliage,
you can't kill my roots.
I know how to live."
Note: Shamrock sure inspires me.
