Floating beneath the surface, the tempestuous temptress of the sea

All those in audience collapse, weeping and chanting in manic greed

My song roving miles of beach, in the surf my voice wallows and wades

∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•

Resting on the sun-warmed sand, vibrant hair touching salt air

Every luring cry rises in bubbles slowly freed

Floating beneath the surface, the tempestuous temptress of the sea

∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•

The deeper I roam, my song transforming from solace to despair

Calling men from their ships, sweeping them from sturdy, sea-found feet

My song roving miles of beach, in the surf my voice wallows and wades

∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•

Vibrations carry miles over the water; my sonic allure ensnares

Scores of zealots scramble and dive, like baby turtles in the blazing heat

Floating beneath the surface, the tempestuous temptress of the sea

∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•

Once drunk, my words, mingled with seawater, tend to cognitively impair

Every sun-scorched supplicant bent in beggarly solicitation is slowly drawn into the deep

My song roving miles of beach, in the surf my voice wallows and wades

∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•∘˙○˚.•

Conducting this symphony of regret, my army of the drowned swarm over rock and wind-blown deck-chair

Their arrival met with hollow dirge, a hymn bittersweet

Floating beneath the surface, the tempestuous temptress of the sea

My song roving miles of beach, in the surf my voice wallows and wades
