Cry crwth in the crypt cly,

By the cwm like a cwtch;

A damp ghylls.

Hwyl a hymn,

Mad as a hyp ky,

And scry like a sylph,

A twp with a deep tyg,

Drunk in a vly or wych.

Fill the country wynd with wyn,

Waffling as easily as thymy myrrh,

And soothe fyrd who fy.

Ere their ploughing eyre,

But nay haw;

You are no flibbertigibbet,

Nor snollygoster,

Nor floccinaucinihilipilification.

Play on,

You adroit aeolist,

Agog with chicanery concinnity,

Mottle and muddle the mugwump mind,

Embrangle but illecebrous,

And imbroglio for quidnunc poltoons,

Who’d only bowdlerise the sweet sound!

Dandle now crwth,

And heed no anecdoche for myrmidons,

Twankle above twee twaddle,

Let the susurrus dirge brontide.
