Tear Drops
A soul that cries...
Tear drops fall from saddened eyes,
A heart that breaks, a soul that cries.
Each drop a story of its own,
Of love and loss and being alone.
Some tears are quiet, barely heard,
Others scream with every word.
But no matter how they fall or flow,
They all speak of pain we know.
Tear drops can be bitter, filled with regret,
Or sweet with memories we can't forget.
They cleanse our hearts and wash away,
The hurt and sadness of another day.
So let the tears fall as they may,
For they are the language of what we cannot say.
And though they bring us to our knees,
They also hold the power to set us free.
