"Teacher's Tapestry: A Journey Through Primary School Memories"
A Sculptor who carves our abilities
In my primary school _ My first childhood memory,
Entering kindergarten _ My first experience without parents.
When I was scared of the school uniform _ I didn’t realize that there was someone special in school.
When my eyes were shedding _ That special person kept me on her lap.
The undeleted pictures of Maharaja Sibi in my brain _ The first history lesson taught by her.
When my tiny brain struggled to differentiate ‘>‘ and ‘<’ _ Marked her beginning of carving my talent.
The day I misspelled a Tamil word _ The day she yelled at me for the first time.
The day I made collections of poems _ I realized that her yelling had skilled me.
The day I am writing this _ Pictures her as a sculptor of my ability.
This legend I speak of with utmost glee,
Is none other than my primary school teacher, you see!
