you want to taste my madness?
let me give you a little hint
it tastes like a mix of many colours
flat matte finish, time worn tint
it tastes of spoiled hope
it tastes of sepia toned dreams
it brings to mind you will come to find
all flavours of many screams
it tastes like white noise
like the lightning inside
a distant thunderhead rolling
the foam on an anxious tide
it tastes like a blurred vision
marred by yesterdays tears
it feels like never would feel like forever
and all of those untested fears
it tastes like a maze
of locked doors no keys
like slow motion quick silver
like a disease slowly squeezed
it tastes like a sound
you’ve heard once before
it tastes like a fading distance
and then nothing once more
.
