B- Movie Doomsday Blues

Yesterday, there was no snow.

Today, there are no birds.

Tomorrow, there'll be no coffee

and then there will be words.

Temporary Thoughts

Time began before the first second.

The second second was largely redundant.

The last second will be no less impossible

than the first ever was.

Time needs Mind. Time reminds Mind,

“Baby, I’m nothing without you.”

Drawn from Memory

In profile

those lines of exquisite balance.

You turn

and face this observer.

And a new moon's slender crescent

in less than a heartbeat

became full and bright.

An eclipse made of light.

To hold this memory

I would forget my name

as completely as I cannot recall yours

if ever I knew it.
